Positive: This apartment is a gem of a find on Booking. Its situated in a great area and fantastic for a short term if you're in Manchester visiting the city. I found the apartment was clean, spacious, decorated and finished to a good standard. It was also peaceful and the balcony was a plus allowing you to see for miles on a clear day. This would be a perfect place during the summer months. Shame it was mid December when I booked and made being outside the least of my priorities! Getting in and out is a breeze, all fob access which is super simple. Getting the keys was no problem either. Instructions was sent in decent time and were accurate. As mentioned, really nice area, well maintained, quiet with mainly locals living in apartments nearby, workers in MediaCity and tourists coming to the Quays. A massive plus for me was the Metrolink directly outside and regular buses like the 50 into Salford Precinct or going towards Didsbury. Being a location with great connections there should be no issue getting around. The internet was super fast and reliable. Nelson helped to get it setup and was really responsive when it needed configuring. The beds were also really comfortable! Overall a very pleasant stay. I stayed solo but I'd recommend staying as a small group to make the most out of the place and also to get the most value!
Negative: Had issues with the balcony door that wouldn't shut properly but this was promptly sorted by Nelson. Other little issues like some bulbs in the living room having blown at some point, others flickering and needing replaced. En-suite bathroom sensor doesn't work properly so the light is always on. Very minor issues that can be fixed very easily. Also, even though little details were clearly considered for my stay others had been missed like various cooking utensils. I fried eggs in the morning on several occasions and used a spoon to flip them when it would have been nice to have had a drawer full of kitchen utensils.

lonely apartment
Positive: The apartment was lovely very spacious with a brilliant patio
Negative: Nothing really, if you want to go into Manchester you do need a taxi

Fine but beware the mooch for the keys!
Positive: Modern and everything I needed for a couple of nights in Salford
Negative: The place to pick up the key was - I only found out after booking - three tram stops or a twenty minute walk away from the property. This was incredibly frustrating and I even had to retrace my steps to return the key in the final day. I booked the place to be near mediacity, not to waste an hour tripping back and forth to collect keys

weekend getaway
Positive: The apartment was beautifully presented and in a great location.
Negative: It would be useful if there was allocated parking however I do understand it's difficult in cities

Positive: fantastic location and views
Negative: the balcony was great but a bit sad that the plant pots were broken and the chairs were not usable. also the lights in the bathrooms didn't switch off automatically when we thought they should.
