Bolton Luxe Villa

I'll be back! Positive: Location is amazing, ample space in the villa for a family of 9 and still rooms and beds to spare! Gated entrance and ample space for parking, very big garden for the kids! Keys were ready for us to check in ourselves even though I hadn't given the host time of my arrival. Host was very helpful in all instances and went out his way to help in which we even extended our stay. Location is within driving distance to central Manchester and surrounding towns, local supermarkets and gyms available. Towels in every room and bed and a massive kitchen to do your own cooking if needed. Negative: A dining table in living room to eat would have been the icing

Good, but it could be a lot lot better with a little more thought. Positive: Location/privacy Negative: Communication could have been better on checking in time. Never got a clear confirmation of being able to check in early or not, so checked in at 3pm. A little run down, needs a cosmetic upgrade in places. There were no clothes hangers in the wardrobes. Mirrors need to be above sink in all wash rooms where possible. No instruction manual on how to operate heating/dishwasher etc. Sky box didn’t work ◦ Welcome instructions need to be more detailed….what was code for as it wasn’t the gate code or the Keysafe code(we had to get a code from the gentleman in the garage). ◦ We didn’t know that the key was under the mat. ◦ An alarm went off when we went in, took us ages to realise it was linked to a ‘phone’ in kitchen. ◦ Some hand towels would have been useful. ◦ The shower in GF bathroom floods as the filter is blocked ◦ We didn’t have any leaving instructions so didn’t know if needed to strip beds etc

Disappointing experience due to lack of responsibility Negative: The property is nice and well located, but we had a very unpleasant experience that no guest should go through. The owners live on-site with their dogs, and when we opened the gate, two of them ran out—one jumped on my car and scratched the paint. I reported the incident immediately, but instead of taking responsibility or offering a proper solution, they simply suggested I try removing the scratch myself using a household product. Since then, they’ve ignored further communication and haven’t offered to cover the cost of repair. This kind of attitude shows a complete lack of professionalism and respect for guests and their property. If you value your peace of mind and the safety of your vehicle, think twice before booking this place.

Beautiful and tranquil location Positive: Quiet location and very private (absolutely no noise pollution), very helpful and friendly staff, beautiful views from the balcony, decent sized bedrooms (beds were very comfortable and bedding well done) great shower and bathing facilities, all the rooms were clean and the kitchen too Negative: No physical dining table (only a small breakfast bar/high table in the kitchen), would be better to have more toiletries (e.g. complimentary shower gels, hand sanitizers) and things like toilet roll, kitchen roll, very little cutlery).
